PCS Expands Software Application with Employee Portal Beta
Denison, IA – March 8, 2010 - Professional Computer Systems, Co. (PCS) announced today that the beta test on the new accounting module for an “Employee Portal” will be ready for testing in the late March to early April timeframe. Several PCS clients have volunteered to be beta testers on the new Employee Portal module.
The Employee Portal module will allow the utility employee to view their personal payroll information and take an active role in the input of time and benefits. Because the portal is web based and located at the PCS hosting center, it will require only a browser to access. 2-2-10 Traverse Goes Live with Utilit-e Insight
Traverse Electric Co-op (Traverse) from Wheaton, MN, went "live" the first week of January with Utilit-e Insight, PCS' accounting application. Deb Bean, Financial Applications specialist at PCS commented, "The Traverse installation and training went very well. It was such a pleasure to work with the Traverse staff who were quick to learn the application."

11-1-09 PCS Welcomes Traverse Electric
PCS is pleased to announce Traverse Electric Cooperative has signed with PCS for Utilit-e Insight (accounting) and Utilit-e Connect (billing) solutions. Traverse Electric Co-op is located in Wheaton, MN with over 2,700 customers supplying electricity to a wide variety of commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential locations within their community.
PCS has begun the Insight Discovery process with an on-site visit late in October with Connect to follow early first quarter 2010.
PCS is excited to add Traverse to the list of PCS clients serving the MN area, and looks forward to working closely with them over the next several months.
